CourseGraphic This class is geared toward those who want to develop a flexible estate plan that addresses preserving your estate upon death and during incapacity.  Discussion will include understanding non-probate transfer techniques, asset titling, beneficiary designations, problems with will substitutes, testamentary trusts, selecting an attorney, financial power of attorney, power of attorney for healthcare, and cost of developing an estate plan.  Students will also receive instruction on understanding revocable living trusts, pour over wills, selecting a successor trustee, naming beneficiaries, special needs trusts, dealing with retirement plans flowing through a trust, and costs of a trust-centered estate plan.  (This is a face-to-face class, so masks are required.)
