CourseGraphic All supervisors, department managers, key line leaders, safety committee members and potential supervisors should be educated in the basics of OSHA regulations.  The 30-hour course will help employees understand safety standards and how to apply them in their areas.  The course will cover 30 hours of required General Industry topics in 4 days. Our training time is 34 hours, which includes breaks and lunch. Students will receive a 30-hour OSHA General Industry Outreach course completion card. The course will include the following topics:

Introduction to OSHA Standards
OSH Act
General Duty Clause 5 (a) (1)
Inspections, Citations, and Penalties (CFR Part 1903)
Walking and Working Surfaces, Subpart D
Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection, Subparts E & L
Electrical, Subpart S
Flammable and Combustible Liquids, Subpart H
Personal Protective Equipment, Subpart I
Permit-Required Confined Spaces, Subpart J
Lockout / Tagout, Subpart J
Materials Handling, Subpart N
Machine Guarding, Subparts O
Welding, Cutting, and Brazing, Subpart Q
Hazard Communication, Subpart Z
Introduction to Industrial Hygiene / Bloodborne Pathogens, Subpart Z
Ergonomics
Recordkeeping, 29 CFR 1904
