This course is designed to equip babysitters, caregivers, and youth with the essential knowledge and skills needed to respond confidently in emergency situations involving infants and children. Following the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest, choking, and common injuries. Through hands-on practice and interactive instruction, participants will gain the confidence to act quickly and appropriately in emergencies, helping to ensure the safety and well-being of children in their care.

  • Infant and child CPR techniques
  • AED awareness and use
  • Relief of choking in infants and children
  • Basic first aid for common injuries and illnesses
  • Emergency response and scene safety
  • Injury prevention and caregiver responsibility
No prior experience is required. Upon completion, participants will be better prepared to provide safe, responsible care in a variety of settings.
